I recently had an issue with my main drain backing up into the basement. I called One Hour Rooter who came out and refused to snake the main line and instead tried to push water jetting on me for $1500… Do yourself a favor, and skip the rooter companies advertising on price only to try to upsell you on outrageously expensive and unnecessary solutions. Call a reputable company like Drain King where they won’t try to take advantage of you and know what they are doing. I’ve never had a better experience with a company I’ve hired to address a problem in my home. I couldn’t recommend them more.

Had a different drain company tell me after spending $1050 my main drain was totally collapsed at 70ft and it was going to cost me $7500 to replace and line the main sewer line. I called the city with the other companies diagnosis and was told to get a second opinion and they recommend Drain King. Ron came out, was diligent and relentless and found that the problem was not a collapsed pipe but roots at 100ft and cleared the line. Drain King is awesome.

I had two other plumbers tell me that replacing a lift pump would cost over $1,200. Drain King came for free, after hours, and then did the work for less than $300. Nice to know that this company is honest, fast and doesn’t gouge people. The other companies wouldn’t tell me how long the project would take, only that it would be so expensive. Drain King is the best and most affordable! I put their stickers on the pipes myself so anyone who needs to call them in an emergency if I’m not around can all them! Thanks, Ron and my apologies, there was one other time I used them and another guy came out and was just as good!

Their serviceman Ron came out to unplug our two bathroom sinks. It was a very difficult job on our old Orin Thompson rambler from the ’60s.
Ron was very patient and after many problem areas, he finally broke thru the clogs. Ron was very professional and cleaned up the area very well when he was done.

I had occasion to use Drain King this week, and I am really pleased with my experience. The Customer Service Representation who booked the appointment was very effective and friendly, made an effort to assess the severity of my problem and book a time that was convenient for me. I received a call to confirm that I was available at the appointment time and the technician showed up in a timely manner. [I had an “after 4 p.m. appointment, and the technician was there at 5 p.m.]. The technician, Scott, was very professional and thorough. He confirmed that the main line was the cause of the problem before he started to work on it. He worked quickly. He explained what he was doing and the problem he found. And he explained that he was taking an extra step running a second, larger blade through the line to be sure that the main was cleaned thoroughly.”
